    John Nicholson is a life long resident of the Lafayette area. John served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. As a supporter of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Organization, he has mentored 2 little brothers. John also supports Junior Achievement of Lafayette, Family Services’ women’s shelter, Wabash Center, and Purdue University. John is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Business to Business Group, Purdue University’s Fast Breakers Club, Lafayette Board of REALTORS, Indiana Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS, Appraisal Section, National Association of Review Appraisers & Mortgage Underwrites, and the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers (NAIFA). As a member of NAIFA, John has served as president of the Lafayette Chapter. John has owned his own appraisal company over 14 years. He is a respected businessperson in the community and lenders hold him in high regard. John received the designation of IFA on May 31, 1997 and CRA on July 14, 2000.
